The Students of class 4 celebrated Gandhi Jayanti on the 4th of October to pay homage to the Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi and also to India’s second Prime Minister Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri.

 The programme began with one of Gandhiji’s famous quote followed by speeches on the life of Mahatma Gandhi and the teachings of the three wise monkeys.

The assembly concluded with the chanting of the bhajan ‘Raghupati Raghav’ which was Mahatma Gandhi’s favourite hymn.
