13th June 2022 will go down as red-letter day in the history of Manovikas as the day marked the Inauguration of ISC Section and Foundation stone laying of ISC Block. The Chief Guest for this auspicious occasion was Mr. Anthony de Sa, IAS and former Chief Secretary , Government of Madhya Pradesh.
The ceremony was graced by the presence of director Mrs. Maya Lin Noronha, Chairman Mr. Jose Manuel Noronha, members of the trust, Principals of all the sections, parents and students of ISC, vice principal, coordinators and teachers of ISC Manovikas school.
The event commenced with a welcome speech and a presentation by Mrs. Maria Norman, Principal of Middle, High School and ISC section. She enlightened the students about the history of the CISCE, various subject options and facilities at Manovikas. She also gave her advice about the code of conduct that and ideal student should follow to achieve success in their life and career.
Mr. Jose Manuel Noronha welcomed and addressed the parents, wherein he drew their attention to the need to allow students the freedom to explore their talents and grow up to be happy citizens and contributors to the society.
The chief guest Mr. Anthony de Sa was presented with a memento and a bouquet by the Chairman Mr. Jose M. Noronha.
The Lighting of the lamp ceremony was followed by the Inauguration of the plaque for the New ISC building at the hands of Mr. Anthony de Sa chief guest along with the Director Mrs. Maya Lin Noronha, Chairman Mr. Jose Manuel Noronha, members of the trust and Principal Mrs. Maria Norman.
Mr. Noronha shared his experiences with students and give his valuable words of advice, which will in the long run help the students to pursue their dreams and talents.
Mr. Anthony de Sa shared his experiences with the gathering and appreciated the logo and vision of the school which emphasizes on freedom of choice and allows students to pursue and polish their natural talents and abilities.
The parents were presented with a copy of the school Coffee table book.
The vote of thanks by Dr. Vinella Gomes, trustee was followed by refreshments.
The day ended on a happy note and great hopes for the future.
