Makar Sankranti is celebrated as a very important festival in India. Makar Sankranti is the only Hindu festival based on the solar calendar instead of the lunar. This festival is usually celebrated on  14th or 15th of January annually. Juniors celebrated Makar Sankranti by making colourful kites.

Diwali is the festival of lights which signifies the victory of light over  darkness, knowledge over ignorance, good over evil and hope over despair. So let's all unite together and spread the light  throughout the world.

Origami is a very well known form of art with paper folding.  Students of class 3 made colorful crabs with paper and learnt the art of paper folding and making objects out of paper.  They showed their creativity by doing the ORIGAMI CRAB independently. Throwball team of U-14 boys secured second place at inter school Throwball competition organized by director of sports and youth affairs at Fatorda ground.

Middle School students conducted a Veer Bal Diwas assembly, emphasizing bravery and resilience, fostering a spirit of courage among all.

Grammar is often despised by students and they tend to neglect it. Tr.Beena   designed a game intended to make Grammar interesting and exhilarating to learn. The students enjoyed playing this game and were thrilled at the eventual outcome. A few photographs showing their enthusiasm and participation are depicted here.

The students of Std 8B & C performed a play on Kalinga Vijay depicting the change in outlook of King Ashoka as regards war and destruction. Their enthusiasm was admirable. Attached are a few snaps depicting the exercise.

The importance of cleanliness and hygiene needs to be inculcated amongst children. The students of Std 5A, D & E prepared charts on this topic and wrote meaningful slogans related to this. A few interesting visuals related to this activity are attached.

Monoacting competition for class 5th was held on 30 June 2022 organized by the Konkani Department for the academic year 2022-23. Monoacting helps build confidence and speech.
