*Raksha Bandhan* is a festive day to celebrate the bond and love between a brother and sister. ‘Raksha’ means protection and ‘Bandhan’ means bond.

This year our *Pre- Primary Senior* section celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 11th August in school with great zeal.

All students came dressed in Indian traditional outfits. The meaning of Raksha Bandhan was explained to the students by their class teacher. The handmade Rakhis crafted by the resource room students were tied on students’ wrists and  sweets were distributed to all.

The event was celebrated with much joy and enthusiasm.
