The 51st Annual Sports Day was held on 4th February 2020 at the Raia ground. The chief guest Mr. Vinod Dhamaskar, retired physical education teacher and a multi-faceted sports personality was escorted by the principals of the pre-primary and primary sections who accorded to the guard of honour.
The sports event commenced with the unfurling of the sports flag and lighting of the torch at the hands of the chief guest. This was followed by the March Past of the Primary school and the torch relay.
The student of the pre-primary and primary sections put up colourful and lively drills which left the gathering enchanted.
Students participated in various unique novelty races and the sprinters caught the attention of the viewers and won laurels too. The insignia of Manovikas – The School Band enthralled the audience by playing melodious tunes and by putting up a rhythmic display.
Students who excelled at sports across the Pre-Primary to High School were felicitated with trophies and certificates.
The Sports eve concluded with the lowering of the sports flag and extinguishing of the torch. The gathering dispersed after singing the National Anthem.
