The Annual general meeting and the PTA Elections for the term 2019- 2021 were held on the 12th September 2019 in the Manovikas multipurpose hall. The program began with an invocation of peace and a welcome to this years AGM. A welcome speech was delivered to the parents present by the secondary school principal Srabonee Thakar. The gathering was also made aware that since no parent contestant nominations were received from the middle and high schools sections. The PTA, president nominated two members, according to the constitution. Mrs. Vividha Nayak and Mrs. Sangeeta Sawant to represent the parents of middle and high school sections respectively and they have kindly consented for the same. The guest speaker Ms. Shabeen Xec then delivered a presentation and speech on how the child’s environment and personal experience plays a detrimental role on the life-long development of the child. Ms. Xec is a former students of the school and has a masters in Applied Neuropsychology from the University of Bristol.

The program than continued with a presentation on the many activities and seminars conducted by the outgoing PTA members and an audited report was delivered by Mrs. Wendy Da Silva, PTA Treasurer. The meeting than continued with an introduction of the parents contesting elections from the Pre- Primary and Primary sections.

After the ensuing elections and casting of votes Mrs. Manisha Dias and Mrs. Priyanka Naik emerged winners as the new representatives of the PTA in the Pre- Primary and Primary sections respectively.

The AGM then concluded with a vote of thanks by Mrs. Misba Shaikh, Secretary of the PTA and the singing of the National Anthem.
