Ganesh Chaturthi is called Vinayak Chaturthi. It is a Hindu festival celebrated for ten days. Class III A, B, C and D conducted the Ganesh assembly on 27th August.
It started with a glorious Ganesh Vandana, a pray dance to communicate with the divine which was followed by a narrative on the birth of Lord Ganesha. The students sang and danced as music is as integral part of all the celebrations.
The Pandal was beautifully decorated with lord Ganesha’s idol, Fruits and sweets were displayed. The pujari did the Aarti along with the teachers singing holy songs.
Lastly the program was ended with Ganpati Visarjan. Everybody worshiped Ganesha and sweets was distributed.
