Our country India got freedom from the British rule on the 15th of August 1947. Every year this day is celebrated with great fervour and patriotism to remember the sacrifices our freedom fighters made for us. This National festival is marked thoughout India with flag-raising ceremonies, drills and singing of the National Flag.The Indian national flag symbolises our  pride and is one of the most respected national symbols.

To commemorate this National festival Day, Class 1 made a collage activity where in students were asked to tear papers from magazines, colored papers or newspapers(Orange/Green) and stick on the Independence Day worksheet.  Later, students were asked to click a picture along with the activity done.
