Viva Sao Joao! The feast of St. John the Baptist or Sao Joao is celebrated in an unusual manner, with people leaping into and swimming in wells, streams and ponds and also by making ‘Kopel’ or a flower crown as a form of tribute. It is celebrated on 24th of June every year. To make this festival more colourful and joyous, class 1 organised a kopel making making activity wherein the students were asked to make a Kopel using colourful papers.
