On the 24th of June, a centuries old festival , Sao Joao is celebrated with much pomp and merry in Goa with people singing melodious songs, dancing around with kopels and jumping into wells .Sadly, this year due to the pandemic, our students were not able to celebrate this fun-filled festival in school by parading wearing unique kopels. But the teachers put forth an informative and entertaining video. Our students always looked forward to the ‘kopel’ making activity conducted in school but this year they kept the tradition alive by making attractive kopels at home.
