Chitrangi – an Art and Craft Exhibition was inaugurated on the 15th of October 2019 at 11:00am at the hands of Dr. Nitin Upadhyay, the Chair and Head of the Centre of Innovation and Digital Business Innovation at Goa Institute of Management, Sanquelim in the presence of our Chairman Mr. Jose Manuel Noronha.
After declaring the Art Exhibition open, the Chief Guest along with the Chairman, members of the Trust, and principals were escorted by the art-teachers to have a look at the exhibits: a colourful artistic creation by our budding young artists. The Chief Guest Mr. Nitin Upadhyay expressed his appreciation and called it ‘a professional driven art-exhibition’.
The event proceeded with the Lighting of the lamp by the dignitaries. Our Chairman Mr. Jose Manuel Noronha extended a warm welcome and congratulated the young artists and the art-teachers for setting-up a classic art-exhibition.
The chief guest Mr. Nitin Upadhyay, addressed the gathering on Art and its effect on the human mind and life. He asked the students to live a ‘happy life’.
As an encouragement and admiration for their creative artistic display of skills the student-artists were felicitated by the chief guest with mementoes.
The Inauguration function of Chitrangi – an Art and Craft Exhibition concluded on a colourful, creative and charitable note that is, the proceeds of the sale of the art exhibits will go towards charity.
