The preliminary round of Fit India Quiz 2021 was conducted by National
Testing Agency in the online mode. Although the first edition of the Fit India
Quiz 2021 was conducted on 15-16 November 2021. The second edition of the
exam was conducted on 23-24 December 2021 wherein large numbers
participated from different part of India.
The preliminary round of the Fit India Quiz, organised by the Ministry of Youth
Affairs and Sports saw participants from 13,502 schools from more than 659
districts across the country, out of which students of 360 schools across 36
States and Union Territories have now been shortlisted for the State Rounds.
Manovikas English Medium School secured the third place amongst 360 best
schools across India to participate for the State Level Round.
A team of two students participated in this event. Their names are as follows:
i) Nadia Nicole Sousa (IX)
ii) Daniel Monteiro (VIII)
The thirty-six school teams (winner from each State and/or Union Territory)
will move to the National Round that will take place later this year and will be
telecast on Star Sports & Webcast on multiple social media channels.
The main aim of this quiz is to create awareness among students about India’s
rich sporting history and to tell them more about India’s centuries-old
indigenous sports and our national and regional sporting heroes.
