A youth awareness session on “Adolescence” was conducted by Dr. Jagdish Kakodkar, professor, and Head of Department of Preventive and Social Medicine, GMC on “Adolescence” for the Boys of Classes 8th and 9th on 28th February 2020 in the CSTI:

The theme of the talk was to make our students aware of the very many issues that are linked to today’s youth: the session began with Coronavirus, followed by Drug Addiction, its effects and its prevention; Sex Education including Sexual Harassment. He made our students aware on what to do and what not to when an individual is confronted with issues related to Adolescence. At the end of the session the students were given an opportunity to ask questions which were answered by Dr. Kakodkar deftly.

Our students left enriched clearing their doubts and myths on health, hygiene and various concerns related to ‘Adolescence’.
